Ethics
Ethical standards of conduct apply to every Department of Defense (DoD) employee, both civilian and Military.
The DHRA Office of General Counsel provides formal government ethics advice in a number of areas, including potential financial conflicts of interest, post-government employment restrictions, travel funded by non-Federal entities, acceptance of gifts, and political activities.
Defense Logistics Agency Office of General Counsel (DLA OGC) is the Designated Agency Ethics Official (DAEO) for DHRA and is responsible for:
- Annual financial filing requirements—Office of Government Ethics (OGE) Form 450 and Standard Form (SF) 278
- Annual ethics training requirements
- All matters requiring the approval of a DAEO (e.g., co-sponsorship agreements)
